The Benefits of Urethane Concrete
-
1
Withstands High Temperatures
For environments where intense heat is prevalent, urethane can withstand those high temperatures and create stable, lasting flooring.
-
2
Impact-Resistant
Urethane offers a layer of protection against the abrasion of various tools, machinery, and more, making it an effective solution for warehouses and factories.
-
3
Mitigates Moisture
The urethane seals over the concrete, shielding it from moisture that can seep into cracks and wear down the concrete.

Frequently Asked Questions
Epoxy is more resistant to the traffic of heavy vehicles and machinery making it an ideal option for warehouses and other spaces that have wheel traffic. However, it isn’t built to withstand impact
Urethane floor coating doesn’t hold up that well against heavy wheel traffic however it is resistant to impact. It also holds up in heat that would normally weaken epoxy. Urethane can also dry and cure faster making for a shorter installation time.
Thermal shock resistance is an object’s ability to withstand sudden temperature changes. For example, if a floor is naturally cold most of the time, washing it with high-heat water won’t shock the floor.
A thermal shock to your floor can cause concrete to chip and break, requiring repairs. This happens because materials will expand under heat and contract when they’re cooled. Our customers within the food and beverage industry, such as restaurant kitchens or food processing facilities, rely on our urethane concrete to maintain their floors and keep them durable.
Other flooring solutions experience wear and tear from varying temperatures. Our customers can trust that spills and cleaning processes that have an impact on the floor’s temperature won’t cause damage to the resistance that our urethane has to thermal cycling.
The bond strength is how well a coating can adhere to a surface. Our Poly-Crete urethane has tremendous bond strength, giving it the ability to stick to the floor easily. Flooring solutions that lack bond strength can cause premature coating failure, which creates costly repairs for your floor.
Premature coating failure can make your floors look worn down long before the end of your coating’s lifespan, sometimes within a couple of months after treating the floor.
The high bond strength of our urethane can simplify the installation process and give you long-lasting protection for your floors.
